ABOUT MEnslace

My name is Tanner! I am from a small town in Minnesota. My two dreams are to never drive in the snow again and to be a full-time artist.

The name Menslace was born during my freshman year of college. After getting halfway through my sophomore year, I felt stuck. I dropped out of college, and my mom found me a job at a photo printing lab. After months of staring at the same pattern for eight hours a day, I finally saw the Menslace face.

It wasn’t until my late 20s that I felt confident in my art style. Menslace is about freedom, acceptance, and equality—people having the ability to love who they want, wear what they want, and embrace everything that makes a person unique.

I specialize in digital illustration, but I love dabbling in other categories! I hope my art can spark a conversation, whether that is within yourself or between others. The world would be a better place if we just listened to each other.
